I thought it was a reasonable mea culpa, no excuses. I hope the various points about delivery of 11s (including the UK), missing mags, etc. are borne out by experience.

It’s true that the first step is admitting you have a problem, so the new blog post was really very good. I think it was heartfelt. I just hope he can do it.
