3 Cab and must have just missed the SB
grabbed 3 CS, and considered wishing for more, but i really donāt have the space.
Grabbed 3 & 3. First time signing up for an allocation thanks to this board, so excited to see how these bottles evolve over time.
Do people have recommendation on how long we need to wait for cab and sb to be in their primary drinking window?

If this is your first time with the wines, Iād really recommend opening a bottle in the near-term to see for yourself what itās all about (and to better understand what youāre collecting!). For the cab, ~4-5hrs decant got it into good drinking shape for my tastes, and Iām sure that there are plenty who will be happy drinking these early. Itās not in an angry rigid style where itās super locked up, though Iām sure aging a decade will reward you (this is for the ā22, I have not tasted the ā23 yet).

First time. SB was gone but got 3 of the Cab and wished for 3 more. Canāt wait.

First timer here, picked up 3 SBs. I love Napa bdx-blanc whites. If these can perform in the league of Morletās LPD, they may have a new longtime client. Thx board for the intel!

Was waiting to see this. Figured these wouldnāt last until today. Given how wine sales are down it has to be a nerve wracking time to be a vintner hoping to sell everything. They certainly earned it!

I was totally swamped. Signed up for the waitlist a week ago and was surprised to see the email at 8 am (but missed it until literally just now). Put a wishlist request in. Not liking my chances haha

Got sucked into this one by the board! Didnāt see the email until after lunch, but the Cab was still available so took that. No SB or wish listing available at that point.
How are wishlist determined for the wave 2? By seniority or by oneās place in line?

Iām guessing here, so not speaking for MOWE. The availability was first come, first served yesterday. The wish-listing was available to some who got in early yesterday, but had disappeared by the time I opened the email & ordered (11:30 PST). Thus, Iām inferring wish-listing was also FC,FS that was turned off part way through yesterday once they had confidence in the sell-out.

I checked my allocation at 8:01 and didnāt have any SB available to me. Then I immediately got pulled into work stuff and by the time I remembered āwait, I gotta order the Cabā, it was all sold out. Oof. Next year hopefully Iāll be more on top of things.

Just putting it out there - if anyone is local to Chicago or planning a visit in the coming months, and missed out on the ā23s (or only got one), Iād be happy to open a bottle - either or both - once they arrive.
I also havenāt touched my ā22s yet, and Iāve got two bottles of each.
Wineās always better when shared with people who truly appreciate it!
