New Burgundy Report online

The newest version of Bill Nanson’s excellent (and free!) Burgundy Report is now up for perusing. Haven’t read it all yet, but you can find it here.

I love Bill’s work, and have met Bill numerous times, he’s a great guy. I look forward to reading the new report.

Whoops, except the “Others Tasted” portion, which apparently needs another day before it’s posted.

One exceedingly interesting comment from Phillipe Prost of Bouchard Pere et Fils: “it’s quite possible that 09s will be cheaper than the 07s…” for exported wines due to the weakness of foreign markets. This seems extremely unlikely in the States (barring large foreign exchange swings) given the penchant of the US distribution chain to gouge on heralded vintages.
