Napa Zin Story in W&S

David Darlington has hit another home run in the February issue with a great story on Napa Zinfandel. Dave is someone who I consider a friend, even though we hardly see each other less than once a year.

I know that he’s in the process of writing another book on wine, but obviously took a little time away from that to write about Green & Red, Black Sears and Storybook Mountain.

I’ll say it one more time: Wine & Spirits is one of the best written wine mags out there. You never see any full page ads for expensive cars or Carribian resorts (although I’m sure they could USE some), but the writing, content and tasting notes are by far my favorite. [welldone.gif]

I liked this article too Casey. And I agree that their writing is generally pretty good. My store gets it delivered for free and I think it overdelivers for the price!

I haven’t really read the tasting notes enough to make any decision on those, but the articles are usually pretty in depth
