No one would ever mistake this for Champagne, which is great because this is CA juice!
Bright rays of sunshine light the palate up here. No toast, no brioche, no autolytic flavors at all; this is all about lemon warhead popping acidity from start to finish. Maybe the tiniest hint of creaminess barely on the backend, but this is all electricity.
This destroys Kirkland Champagne, every bottle of $14 Prosecco everyone has at every party, etc. Wife really liked it. Assuming there’s some left after the weekend, in for 6+.
Edit to say: for sure, this could handle some years under cork, but it’s not necessary.
