My Last Post was March 2013 - What Have I missed?

Things never change. When I was racing we always talked about tires or why nobody wanted to work the races.

I also seem to remember a thread about scoring wines.
and one about Parker.
and maybe one about Maison Ilan.

Storing your wine in the ocean…deep underwater

R u a certified diver by any chance?

We had an interesting debate about civility. That succeeded in driving out some long-time members.

I’m a huge locavinovore Scott, but within reason. I’ve tasted Texas wine!

All of us at wine berserkers described on twitter…hilarious

Absolutely nothing.

Who else left besides the Klapper?

You missed a lot of sous vide discussion on EE.

Bill Boykin, as far as I know. I think there were one or two others. The whole thing still pisses me off.

Bill B. is still around - although much less frequently, sad to say.

Jay, not only the colorful Klapper, but also Mr. Maison Ilan…he also bowed out after the debacle.

This is why I asked u about Tony Veibel…never see him post here anymore and he vanished on Facebook

I missed that thread. Much sadness.

I want to thank everyone (so far) for helping to fill me in. I spent entirely too much time the past couple of days reading through the archives.

So, Jay, do you think Bill Klapp was forced out by nattering nabobs of negativism or left of his own volition?

Ag, Mark, can’t you come up with something new? A Nix on you!

There’s a silver of truth in what you say…
