Anderson Valley?
Interesting. I did a quick drive-by in Ticino in September 2012 and recall seeing some vineyards right by Lake Como. I also remember thinking that they looked very, very cool (though I probably wouldn’t care for the actual wine produced from those vines). I don’t think the planting density was as high as some of Andrew’s photos from the Valais, but I do recall a similar ambiance, if you will.
Of course, the fact that I finally got to pick up a classical guitar I commissioned in Bioggio after 9 months of waiting probably colors my opinion…
