more Miller-Parker bashing

This exerpt from the article mentioned in the Miller -bashing post got my attention:

This paperback represents a shift for the house of Parker, whose previous tomes and ratings of vintage Bordeaux and other high-end wines carry such weight that he is often referred to as the "pope of the vineyards.

Let’s apply the respect-the-terroir vs globalization arguement to this: Does this mean that Parker is “adjusting” his love of wine and interests in the wine world to keep up with world changes? Perfectly normal behavior for someone in the media or entertainment, but the Pope should march to a higher beat

March? I thought the Pope got carried everywhere.
