Good month!

I don’t at all expect December to be good, given both open house and bottling dates with Ed Kurtzman.

+16 for November, another fail but much less horrible than October, which means
+190 YTD. Yikes. 2024 will end up no better than 2023, which isn’t good.
Austerity measures will be imposed for 2025.

More Truffles dinners in 2025 should help you out with your “problem”

First month with a “negative” score, ended at +3 bottles due to some of my Piemonte alllocations coming home. December will also be difficult but from January I should be back to track ….

November:

Net minus 13

YTD +8
Very solid chance of getting a reduction this year, as this was the goal. In striking distance!

Obviously, things went out of control…

Sent 881 bottles to Wine Bid - many of them recommended right here over the last 15+ years.I moved out of three 70 case lockers at Wine Bank (wonderful place and people) and now work out of a 300 bottle Eurocave and a small “overfill” locker at Wine Bank. At 68, I am finding I really like what I started with - CA Zin, Sonoma Pinot along with Morgon/Fleurie Beauj and plenty french champagne. So , I kept what we liked and put the rest for auction. We’ll see how it goes when the hammer hits today. It was a fun “hobby.” Now back to more simple times for me.
