The more I consider it, this thread seems like a “friendlier” place for me. In fact, spending a little time here I seem less stressed over the fact that my wine therapist has been refusing to return my calls the past couple of years.
Oh, and inspired, I just ordered and will have delivered tomorrow four new crates that each will fit six magnums of wine. And, considering that I now have only seven magnums in the cellar, I obviously will need to purchase a bunch more - don’t want those newly acquired crates to go unused . . . .

Dan, they are!! 
I took measurements of my PGC magnums and those Jezero crates look like they will work perfectly for my needs. I’ve even got a little “nook” in the old coal room that seems tailer made for the dimensions of those crates. Of course, I will need to relocate the stack of three Weinboxes currently occupying that space, but they will find a nice home elsewhere in the cellar. Again, thank you!! You are a true “Giver” when it comes to wine cellar expansion needs . . . .

Once I checked my quite horrible May, it would make more sense to post here as a one off (hopefully).
It’s about what your aims are. If you want to expand your cellar, here is the place to be and you should just own up to your failures. If you want to shrink your cellar, the other thread is the place to be and you should just own up to your failures. If you are switching back and forth, maybe you should just sit back and enjoy and not bother with either.

No. It’s absolutely straight advice. Although, if switching back and forth works for you, go for it.

I’m working on curating based on palate shift, rather than downsizing. It’ll pick up again this fall I’m sure.

My initial response was intended as a playful joke due to the Reduction and future outlook.
