Want to try again: 1982 Mouton
Not true for the 45 Mouton. There are a number of authentic bottles around (but rare). The 45 RC, I agree with you.
Yeah I’m sure there are some of both wines left in the world, but figuring out which are authentic and fake is hard.
Want to drink again: 1976 Fritz Haag TBA and 1964 or 1971 Cheval Blanc (all drunk probably 40 or so years ago).
Want to drink: 1961 Jaboulet Hermitage La Chapelle.
The bottles of ‘45 RC I saw were from a cellar purchase in 1985. That same cellar had the magnum of ‘62 RC.

To drink again? Maybe a pristine bottle (could I order a magnum?) of 1945 Vogüé Musigny VV.
To drink that I’ve never tried? 1962 Lafon Montrachet. The wine Jean-François Coche once told me was the best white Burgundy he’d ever tried.
Never had a DRC?
I have had some wines from DRC (La Tache, RSV, GE and Echezeaux) but not Romanee Conti.
Try again: 04 DRC Monty (with cheese please)
Try: Keller Gmax. 71 Prum
Probably will need a new “try” list tomorrow!

Jayer Parantoux or Richebourg
Leroy Riche (but hey, I’m a reasonable man - I’d settle for Romanee St. Vivant)
Rousseau, more please…
The one that started it all: That bottle of Pesquera I had as a broke-ass grad student in New Orleans with rabbit etouffee in 1997
Try again: 2007 Domaine Leroy Vosne Romanee Genaivrieres
Try: 2002 DRC Romanee Conti (my vintage)
