Mixed Seafood in Alfredo Sauce on Saffron Fettucine with CalChardonnay

Tonight’s dinner was TJ’s Mixed Seafood (small shrimp, bay scallops, and calamari rings) seasoned with SI Spicy Seafood Seasoning, granulated garlic, lemon peel, and tarragon in Alfredo sauce seasoned with tarragon, chervil, and Spicy Seafood Seasoning on saffron fettucine with a low acid 1997 Cask One Chardonnay from Lorenzi and Shipman - light yellow gold in color, cork barely touched; light white fruit, with little acidty; with a medium light fruit finish. Then we had two each Bordeaux cookies with just water for dessert.

The wine came from the successor to Inglrook’s wine program. We stopped shipments after a few months, since the wines were mostly from unknown wineries.
