after little sleep and a minimal b’fast b/c i saved two geriatric-age folks with abdominal emergencies today. i got home early enough (day began 0500) to cook something and i went with Alaskan King Salmon, local White Corn and Small Vines 2005 RRV - a necessary indulgence…
AAA’s deserve a good Pinot, for obstructive bowel, I’d go with the Zin.
The salmon looks beautiful - and I LOVE fresh corn on the cob…ugh.
One bottle of '05 Small Vines RRV left in my cellar, Glenn…shall I save it?
i would say it’s right in its sweet spot this summer and next Todd. i really love Small Vines, very adult take on CA PN. like you corn on the cob could be my last meal when it is sweet. i did have ice cream too.
Sweet corn in the Autumn in Wisconsin is insanity. I could eat a dozen ears without missing a beat…
Good and simple. That’s how I like food.
