I know this might be a tough ask. Any good winebar or restaurants with good wine and food open after 12 midnight in the South 6th street vicinity?
Friday and Saturday, yes (Dakota and 112 Eatery–the latter is a decent walk, though, and is more about food than wine). On weeknights, unless you are in town for the All Star Game (when many places will be open late), I think you might be out of luck.

I figured it would be tough.
Just a quick walk up the road, the Local or Barrio might be serving food that late. Acceptable food but they’re not wine spots. Maybe Hell’s Kitchen on 9th?
Matt, both younger and more hip than me, offered a good food suggestion with Barrio. They have happy hour from 10:00 until close (2AM), which includes food. But forget about wine. If you like sipping tequila, however…

Thanks for the recommendations. I tried Barrio because their website said they were open late but unfortunately they closed early due to lack of customers. A nice waiter at the Irish place next store directed me to Elis which he said was the best place open at 12:30 am.
It was basically a bar with a fun atmosphere and ok comfort food (I have very high standards and don’t eat meat so take this with a grain of salt).
