Miami - South Beach

I will be down for a few days this week - into weekend.

Where should I eat where food is more important than scene. Good wine is good but I will be more “by the glass” for these meals anyway. I hear good things about The Dutch, Pubbelly and Sardinia

Thanks

We were down a couple of weeks ago. We went to the Yardbird Southern Table & Bar. Fantastic.

My only other comment is that there is a Dutch in the Village. I thought it was good (in NYC), but not trip-worthy.

Always recommend Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink. Had a good meal a few weeks ago at Khong River House (sister restaurant of Yardbird). I also really like Macchialina, which is owned by the Pubbelly Group.

Thanks. Booked The Khong River House, Machialina, Sardinia and The Dutch (companion request… may change it)

Ate at both Khong River House and MGFD yesterday. KRH was one of the tastiest meals I’ve had, and a great wine list to boot. My highest rec in SOBE right now.

Lincoln road is a fun walk Lots of restaurants. The Van Dyke Cafe has good bands (jazz, r&B types) upstairs.

Unfortunately they are closing due to astronomical rent. Bummer.

Wow. That is sad news-we had a lot of fun nights there.

Puerto Sagua. Very good Cuban food a block off the beach. Very casual, very cheap

Also planning to go there. Any more?

Cafe Ola
great!
