Method Oregon

I assume you are not in the industry? Then yes, it may be dull, but for those of us who at one point or another have made a living as a sales rep selling a $10 bottle of Prosecco or $8 bottle of vodka it can be pretty informative to understand your customer. In many episodes there is a back and forth, but sometimes Adam can steamroll a little bit and it can feel one sided, other times that not be the case.

I agree Marcus.

My Denver distributor is also a Burgundy and Champagne importer, and he is excited about our upcoming releases of sparkling. He will show them side-by-side with CrĂ©mants and grower Champagne and if they don’t compare in quality, the project simply will not work.

I asked him if I should use the Method Oregon logo and he prefers I use the space for the specs (months en tirage; RS; disgorgement date). Will try to fit it in regardless : ) (will join next year as we approach disgorgement and labeling at 26 mos.)

One dismissive and the other sycophantic, it’s a good duology

I just listened to two previous episodes of the sommtv pod that focused on Oregon sparkling, and this new ep felt very much in line with those. Jason always talks up Oregon bubbles. While I’m not sold on Oregon being #2 on the list of worldwide sparkling wine producers, the rest of the pod was solid.

I’d like to think that we can get there, but I don’t see us in the #2 position yet either. But I also think that we’re in a growth spurt for quality at the moment.
