Méo-Camuzet

Thanks Larry, the wines have that feel often, and I would also describe their red wines generally as quite meaty.

It’s my birth year and I will totally drive to Bethesda for the occasion!

That’s all I got.

I got a 2015 Meo CdV in mixed auction lot but it seems like it might take a very long time to be ready?

Same here.

In my early Burgundy life I tried hard to like his CdV but failed,

Good luck to our venture and May God Bless.

This venture I believe is to place our hands on bottles of Thibault Liger-Belair Corton Renardes?

It was the best of the lot of 11-16 5 years ago. But 15s definitely aren’t really ready per se.

Shoot from the hip — how many more years would you wait if you were me if you just had one bottle.

Very much appreciate all the discussion. Doesn’t hurt to start with Méo and see where it leads me.

Drink it today. Then you’ll know if you want to buy more.

But if it’s totally shut down and offers nearly nothing, will I know whether I want to buy more? Sorry if it’s a stupid question…

One way or another you will know.

IDK. I drink a lot of young wine that isn’t near it’s prime and I still learn enough about what I think I’ll like when older. The longer I do that (I’m at 6 years now), the more fine tuned my process gets.
