Was perusing the wine list for a restaurant my wife and I have been looking to visit. Something doesn’t seem right about these prices. Overall the wine list looks high, but these have me questioning running over right now for a bottle at the bar.
This might be a good spot for a meet up, but I’m questioning these prices.
These seem like second or third label prices.
Ch Latour opted out of the EP system some time ago and the 2009 was released in September of this year (at here in NZ anyway)
So it is impossible that the 2018 Ch Latour is the grand vin. It seems morel likely it is the 3rd label

No indication that they are half bottles or third labels. Here are a few other wines from the same list but California section.

It seems like it, but the Bordeaux are only a few lines below the Hundred Acre for $1000.
I suspect Brodie is right and that the Latour and the Lynch are their third labels, both of which are simply “Pauillac de Latour” and Pauillac de Lynch Bages."
I agree something is up. I’m tempted to stop by tomorrow on my way home from work to investigate. 
Bring a case box just in case
La Petit Lune and Segla are not the Grand Vin.
I’m sure that none are except perhaps the Lassegue.
Nothing suspect about it. The latest release from Latour was 2017 and before that 2015. The 2018 has not been released so must be the another label. I’m not sure if the Les Fort de Latour has been released from 18 either.
