Mary's Chicken, the best I ever had

Did a simple roasted Mary’s chicken w lemon and herbs in the cavity, herbs and butter on the skin. Very good, not Bresse quality, but definitely worth revisiting.

That’s insane.

I was in Costco last week (yes, I ate a hot dog) and bought some of the Coleman’s (rocky) and the packaging lists 5-6% retained water.
If only WF had that deal this week. They are pushing chicken breasts.

Rosie is the organic version of Rocky.
Rosies are now marketed as “air chilled” so the differences between to Marys and Rosies are diminishing. The main differentiation is that Rosie (also the same as Coleman organic at costco) is more uh, an industrial sized operation, while Marys are true pasture raised chickens. So if people want to feel good about eating happy animals, Marys is for you.

I buy both.

Rosie is pimped pretty hard at Sprouts. It’s 2.99/lb this week.
