Looks quite exciting and Tanzer speaks nicely…anyone tasted these ?
Thx
Samantha Sheehan brought some to the Falltacular and I thought they were pretty good. I took some home and we enjoyed it. I recall them being big plush wines.

I remember them as Jason does and liked the Acha a little better but both were good.
Man,I forgot all about this project,I really like Mark’s winemaking style ie Merus,Hestan Buccella.

Thanks Carrie!
I liked them both, especially the Flux. I think they retail for $35 and $25 respectively, which is tough to beat.
Thanks guys !, sounds good.
Agree with the sentiments here; had them at Falltacular as well.
Mark’s partner just brought these buy for us to try and they were even better than I remembered.
I saw Mark last week and he is geared up to get his Cab going this year.
I was talking to Mike about it too, sounds like it will be pretty small production.
Last week I dropped by Juicebox in Napa to see Kevin Carriker, and Mark was there pouring his wines at the tasting bar. His Acha was by far the best domestic Tempranillo blend I’ve ever tried. His personality and laugh are definitely larger than life.
Had Mark Herold’s Flux and Acha today at Juicebox. Both are quite good but I particularly liked the Flux, which runs just $26! Quick note…
2008 Flux Red Wine, Napa Valley, $26
Deep purple color. Full-bodied with a big structure. Blackberries in the nose with a touch of coffee. Little on the pepper side but gobs of fruit and then more fruit. Big mouthfeel, this is about the biggest Grenache-based wine I’ve ever had. Bigger than SQN’s. Really yummy. Could wait five years if you want. A killer QPR.

great picture roy!!!
I tatsed both wines with Mark a few months back. Both were tasty wines.
For some reason I remember the prices being much higher in the $40+ range.

Help me out here. We talked about these. Were’t these priced higher?
I bought a bottle of ACHA from ACME back in June and I really liked it. Took an hour or more to develop in the glass. Sure delivered though even for the $46 I paid for it.
Double checked on his website. It says $25 for the Flux.
Nope, Roy is correct. Maybe they were telling you they were more .
