Pork has been moved to Friday dinner, I just ordered some Salami from Poaka farms, check them out at poaka.co.nz. They featured on a weekly farming show we have here in NZ called Country Calendar (which you can watch on their website).

I cooked the pork on the weber last night and it came out really well. Apple Tree farm pork is good but Im not sure it is sooo good that I would suggest that you pay a premium for imported meat to obtain it (unlike the Te Mana Lamb).
Anyway I killed a few birds with one stone and made Martin’s German tomato salad and opened a couple of older rieslings.
Enjiyable night hunkered down in the lounge watching the All Blacks play their first game of the season
