Count me in - this should be a very interesting evening.
Looking forward to meeting you Daniel!
Glad to hear Madison has a group-grew up in Madison. Get back from time to time so would like to meet you guys sometime.
I haven’t been very active on the boards here, but I am always interested in meeting more Madison wine geeks.
Thursday, October 10th!
Yes, I did read the thread.
I will plan on attending!
How many hours by car is that from Los Angeles?
It’s only 29 hours. I hope you’ll bring good wine!
Andy, carpool? Then we stay for a Packer game at Lambeau…
I look forward to meeting you Kate!
Let me ask my wife if I am free. ![]()
We need to get a head count for the October 10th event at the Tornado Steakhouse in Madison. We will be posting a preliminary menu soon. We may get more specific but I would like beserkers to volunteer pairings for the apps. once we list them. Can’t wait to meet you all should be a great night. The Tornado Room is a great location. A Madison landmark. We are lucky to have it as our venue.
Count me in. Not sure about my wife.
I confirm I will be there
Damn my wife will not let me drive out I really wanted to break some bread with Alex.

…it’s really not that far away lol
Bob, is this looking full or open? I’m still definitely considering making the drive and finding a place to stay overnight…
Hello All!
I apologize for being AWOL on this thread, but I got married at the beginning of the month, and since then I’ve been putting in crazy hours to get caught up at the restaurant. We’re definitely on for the Corral Room on Thursday, October 10th at 7pm.
I’m working on getting a menu put together with the kitchen, and I’ll post that early next week. We’re looking to do easy party-type finger food & I’ll make sure there’s a variety to go with a lot of different wine. $20/head for food & obviously no corkage for wine.
As far as wine goes, I thought since we all are getting to know each other, it might be fun to bring an introductory wine or two- y’know, something that kind of encapsulates where you are right now in terms of palate or interest. (Dibs on Marcel Lapierre!)
We can have as many folks as we want, I’ll just need an approximate head count by Thursday, October 3rd. RSVP to my email address bob at tornadosteakhouse dot com .
Sound good?
Bob, don’t forget to put a list of attendees in the first post - helps keep things organized
I’m in. My wife is interested as well, but only if there are other spouses attending.
I’m new to the area (Reedsburg, WI) and Wine Berserkers. Thanks to Tom D for giving me the heads up about this event. I moved from Atlanta last year and participated in a number of mostly informal lunches and dinners with the group Atlanta Vieilles Vignes (AVV). Looking forward to this event.
Congrats to Bob on his wedding!
Steve, it will be good to meet you, nice to have another CellarTracker on board.
Just to maybe get the ball rolling, I plan on bringing the following:
2011 Lioco Chardonnay Sonoma County
1994 Dunn Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
