Madeira Dinner at Sirene
We’re delighted to announce our inaugural wine dinner in the private dining room at Sirene. Seating is extremely limited, so we wanted to share the news early, even before Chef Gavin has finalized the menu.
Did you know that the signing of the Declaration of Independence was toasted with Madeira? Until the First World War, America was one of the world’s great consumers of Madeira. It then largely disappeared from our shelves, only to enjoy a renaissance in the early 2000s.
Join us for an intimate evening celebrating this storied wine, hosted by one of Madeira’s most legendary figures, Chris Blandy. The Blandy family has been part of Madeira’s history since 1811 and remains the only founding family still in control of their brand today. We’re thrilled to welcome Chris Blandy in-house to help demystify this singular and captivating wine from Madeira.
