Things have been busy, it’s been too long! I checked with @Ian_Alper and we think October 28th would work well for our next one. Tentatively something easy like Mo’s Dumpling/Chloe’s Kitchen or Special Noodle. Open for suggestions though, let us know. All are welcome!
Edit: Mo’s Dumpling/Chloe’s Kitchen October 28th, 6:00pm. 2301 Mission St., Santa Cruz, CA. Bring cash and stems!

Thanks for moving this forward. I am good with either of those two or we could go back to Iveta. They seemed to like having us and the $50 corkage was sweet!
Reservation for 14 confirmed. We’ll have the back of the room. Please let us know if you can’t make it for any reason, since we have a large group this time. Thanks!
The five wines (on the left) that intrigued me (thanks for the right word Ulli). Several other wines were complete, balanced, and/or pretty, but these had terroir and a certain brave individuality. Far right a 1958 wine that had some cherry fruit and freshness, not a lot but some, a different kind of success.
Another wonderful get together with so many excellent wines and great conversations. George blinded us on the two oldies and we were blown away by how old they were. Really enjoyable juice with some fruit still present. Very much alive. Nice to see the Ultramarine before the controversy. Very nice (my bring) but I never really understood the hype. Wish I could have spent more time with many of these. Thanks again to all who made this event so great!
