People should bid what they want to bid! But using 2 pieces of ‘market data’ could help.
for the 2005:

  1. People buying in auction spend between $1,800 and $2,000 before tax and shipping (last few auctions)
  2. Looks like you can pay about the same price in the UK (WSPro data). Makes sense with the pound dropping about 10-15% last week.
  3. I’d guess a buyer here would want a 20% discount to WSPro and maybe a 10% discount to the auction offered side.
  4. So maybe a $1,600 - $1,700 or so bid would work for someone (not for me, but for someone).
