Going next year. We’d like to have some local guide walk us around the hidden or relatively unknown gems of Venice (art, architecture, history, food, wine, artisans, etc.). We have been there before and saw the usual sites for first time visitors. Thanks for any recommendations.
BTW: I searched this sub-board for any recommendations but most were for restaurants.
Tours by Locals can be really good. Personally, I’m a huge fan of Walks for some unusual tours or Context for some superbly educational tours. I also love biking or cruising up the Brenta Canal. I’m always surprised how few people know about this. Beautiful and interesting history. Venetian Villas along the Brenta Canal, ancient burchielli Brenta Canal cruises
