Look what Saxon just showed up with!

We are going to eat and drink VERY well tonight. Three racks of lamb as well.

1978 Beaucastel, 1991 Chateau St. Jean Reserve, 1995 Leoville Barton among others.

Nice mushrooms but I don’t see any magic ones in there… [bow.gif]

Beautiful 'shrooms. Where’s the Burgundy? [tease.gif]

I’ll be curious to hear how that '78 Beaucastel is showing. Reports are some are outstanding, others are dried out. A bottle I opened about 2 years ago was pretty tired, at least compared to a much more vigorous '78 Vieux Telegraphe. Let us know how it was.

Happy Thursday for sure. Those shrooms look awesome.

THREE racks of lamb? dear god. fun!

so how are the mushrooms being prepared?

Kick-ass boys! Have a great night…It sure looks like the start of one.

And that’s not even the fare well selections. Nicely done doods! [berserker.gif]

We just popped the 78 Beau…it’s f#cking amazing.

VERY nice, boys! Have fun! Bottles look fantastic.

78 and 79 Beau can be so Burgundian–really pretty wines when you get a good bottle. If you like the 78 try a 79 sometime–they rocked the house with the vintage.

Have fun guy!

Also opened:
2004 Fevre Bougros Cote Bouguerots
1999 Lafon Volnay-Santenots-Du Milieu
1997 Jamet Cote-Rotie

I’m in heaven.

Beautiful 'shrooms. Where’s the Barolo?

what on earth is father Saxon goin’ to do when you decamp to SoCal…

will he commute ? grouphug

2005 SQN Straw Man just got opened. Massive!

Go big or go home.

That is all.

Any lamb rack pr0n, guys? Vicarious carnivores want to know!

How was the Fevre? Tasty, I bet!

First it wanted to be opened. Then it didn’t want to be opened. Then it wanted to go to Minnesota. Not really worth the trouble. [bye.gif]

Steve didn’t bring any Mouton?
