Limiting your beer promiscuity

I forgot to add Crux. Cause they make some great beers. Certainly on site, anyway.

After consideration, I would bump DeGarde out of the top 5 in favor of Logsdon or Pfriem. But my experiences with aged DeGarde do not in any way match yours. Except for bottles consumed at the brewery or beer fests, almost all my DeGarde consumption is of bottles from 3 months to over a year. Never had a bottle that I thought was impacted by aging.

Tonight I opened a bottle aged over a year, the last of 3 that I consumed at different points on the aging curve. Far from a disaster and really damn good. For this bottle, I slightly preferred the prior bottle I had around 8 months, but I would not turn this bottle down. YMMV.
