I was just on CT – is there a difference between Domaine Leroy Bourgogne and Maison Leroy Bourgogne, or is the former just the latter mis-identified?

I have Maison bourgogne red right down the street for $59
59 might be a bit pricey depending on where you’re at – it was 49.99 at K&L here on the West Coast (though it is now sold out, so maybe demand shot up).
When I tried it, my thoughts were similar to Howard Davis’s, though I would disagree on elegant for my bottle. It’s definitely a big, rich, and dense wine with noticeable woodsy components, though I will agree that there is enough freshness and acidity to keep it from being goopy. If your Burgundy tastes lean that way, there’s worse ways to spend $50-$60 on village-level wines.
Pretty sure it’s always Maison? Hopefully a Leroy/Burg expert will chime in on this.
There is no domaine Leroy Bourgogne, other than in 2004 when all of the grapes were declassified. This is maison.
