Stephen Bitterolf of VomBoden recommended Chill-n-Go carriers to me after a Lauer tasting in ATL in 2019. They are apparently an ITB staple for wine sales people. You can get them in ballistic nylon or leather.
I love my navy blue ballistic nylon carriers. They are functional, tough and travel well. They feel well-designed for the ways we wine geeks think about and travel with wine.

I have a 4 and a 6 bottle version. Even though I may have only 2 bottles in the 4-size, I like the extra space for water, a notebook and whatnot.
Available in many colors, with padded insulated removable bags, pockets for ice packs and a middle section for paraphernalia. If you attach the shoulder strap, you can move a pretty serious amount of wine. I schlepped a jeroboam and 3-750s across 6 blocks of the frozen tundra that is NYC in February and though heavy, it worked great.
Consider the desert and jungle camouflage versions for tastings in stealth-mode…
That’s what I have and I like it. The dividers stay in place with Velcro and can be removed, with one removed I can carry a magnum and a 750. It’s not insulated but I use a flexible foam bottle carrier for whites.
This is what I have and get a lot of comments. A beautifully made ostrich bag from Tom Reddick. NORLIN BD11 offer - luxury wine bags
I know this was about leather carriers, but for the budget conscious, Aldi is selling a 3-bottle one in two styles starting tomorrow. Seems similar to the Igloo one from Costco upthread:
Yup!
I have this one…
Love it. Cushions well, good insulation, and matches my favorite Crocs.
