I didnāt detect any smoke either, though the oak was a bit obtrusive right now for my tastes. Iāll hold off for a while before opening another.

First Bottle has a stagecoach Cab Franc. Used the $75 credit from New Wine Review, so got 4 bottles for $55 total. Iāll take a flyer on that!

Just grabbed 4. I didnt read that much but it seems like a rich person bankrolled trying to make fancy wine and lost money. Good vintage, probably good grapes, probably generous oak (fine by me).
Stagecoach is some of the most expensive fruit in Napa fwiw.

Had to sign up during their promotion a couple months ago. For subscribing, got $75 for First Bottle, $50 for Last Bottle, and $200 for Winebid. More than the price of the subscription, so seemed a no brainer. Iāve now used it all except for the Last Bottle. Waiting for a marathon.
