I hate the way they push that code! I always swipe it away before I realize what it is and can screenshot it.

2015 Cristal was around $265 as well
Its so dumb. Even if you click on the notification (instead of swiping away) it just takes to the LB app and the code disappears forever.

Grabbed 6 of the 2019 Flaneur La Belle Promenade Vineyard Pinot Noir. Screaming deal if these are anywhere near as good as the 2018. Missed on a Halcon petite sirah.

I also grabbed two and then saw it come up a second time. This may be one that recycles and/or is available if you email after the fact. I am an unsophisticated Pinot drinker but have really enjoyed wines from flaneur.

I expect the '19 to be equivalent in quality to the '18, if different due to the vintage. This is the only wine I’ve purchased this marathon, although there would have been others if I thought it was worth paying constant attention.

The last Marathon I only bought 3 bottles. This time none. Used to get nearly a case or more regularly. The actual deals are fewer and farther between, and it’s not like I need more wine in my cellar at this point lol.

I think that’s a result of the pandemic. There was better wine flooding the discount market a few years ago.

This is probably signaling the end of Conn Creek. Conn Creek is owned by Chateau St Michelle and Antinori not only bought Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, but bought the Conn Creek property (though not the brand). The same way Antica stuff got cleared out after Antinori bought them.
Edit: forgot to add the Conn Creek tasting room has been closed since the sale as well.

What are thoughts on conn creek? Never had. Are these decent deals/value?
I bit on a few. I’ve never had them, but they’re literally just up the road from one of my favorite wineries (Frog’s Leap), so I’ve had an interest in them but never got around to it. Per my post above, my guess is this is a lot of their remaining inventory, so I figured why not give ‘em a shot at a discount as it might be the last chance.
I got the ‘13 Anthology and ‘17 Stag’s Leap during the Marathon and the ‘18 Diamond District today.
I’ve bit on every AVA Series that I’ve seen:

And I bit on the Halo as I like to have a wineries TOP offering when I can get it at a discount.
I bit on the Conn Creek Anthology Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2013 during marathon day 1 and saw the AVA specific ones but didn’t buy. Hopefully they’ll loop some of them around again. How long is this free shipping deal supposed to last?
Some members accuse LB of inflated MSRPs but I checked the current Conn Creek offer, (Chiles cab) on the CC website and it is going for $105 just like LB states. Just bought a bottle. Thanks to IanM for his Conn Creek status report.
