I think I’m about 2/3 through after two weeks. Surprisingly not a lot of love for Allemand and Levet. Still some Barge left too. I’ll edit the post soon to highlight some of the remaining gems.
My reasoning for biddding on the Venus was that although I always prefer the Avizoise a friend whoae champagne palate I trust said the Venus only really comes into it’s own with age
So this was a chance to test that assertion as I’d only ever had it on release
Had a bottle of Venus a few months ago that was completely outstanding, with a decent bit of age. Towered above some other high end champagnes, best Agrapart I have had to date.
