Always been a favorite of mine this wine, a blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera and Cabernet 45/45/10. Visited Conterno Fantino 4 times and as always charming Chiara greet me with a big smile and all the time in the world for you.

Deep ruby red, a lot of fruit and spices, integrated wood and tannins. In the nose roses, spices, tobacco, marmalade, and a little anis. Very delicate in the mouth, short but great finish.

Birger,

owned 6 of 1995. Not the best vintage - I know - but anyway - wasn´t impressed. The wine was slightly vegetal, lacked fruit and ripeness. Due to the quite underwhelming performance I refused to buy the following vintages. Maybe that was a mistake.

Hi Jürgen,

Try it again, I have tasted 1999-2005 a very good wine, needs time. The ones I have tasted has a lot of fruit, I have not tasted the 1995 though.
