Lacunae: wineries, winemakers or wines you are surprised you've never tried

I was offered a Paul Hobbs (Crossbairn, I think) in the mail today and I realized I have never drunk a drop of anything he is associated with, despite hearing the name for pretty much all the years I’ve been drinking wine. I began to wonder if others had similar experience and thoughts. Obviously, the ridiculously heavy hitters, like D’Auvernay or DRC or Screagle or Petrus don’t really count, though I know many people on the board do drink these.
Another that comes to mind for me is Chevillon, which I own, but have yet to get around to opening…

Ooh, fun topic.

Rombauer Chardonnay. Of all the “premium” mass produced, prevalent wines that are seen by non-wine folks as special, akin to, say, Prisoner or Silver Oak or Caymus or Conundrum, it’s the only one of those I haven’t had.
