Labet En Chalasse No. 2 Question (What is it?)

I recently picked up a bottle of 2020 Labet En Chalasse Chardonnay No. 2.

My question is: how is it different from the regular bottling?

Does Labet normally have multiple cuvees of En Chalasse and number them like this?

I didn’t know this also now exists in a new bottling, but the answer was kind of straightforward. Just copypasting from something I found.

Seems in the past vintages they’ve been very experimental with new bottlings of longer elevage. Sometimes successful and sometimes a bit too much.

Chalasse Chardy 2020;

Terroir : Chardonnay, sélection massale et clonale. Vigne plantée en 1950, 1985 et 2006. Terroir d’argile, marne bleue du Lias.

Vinification et élevage : vinification sans intrant puis élevage de 22 mois en fûts de 228L.

Chalasse Chardy #2 2020:

Terroir : Chardonnay, sélection massale & clonale. Vignes plantées en 1950, 1954, 1978 et 1985. Terroir d’argile, marne bleue, du Lias.

Vinification et élevage : élevage en fûts de 50% 650L et 50% 228L. Style ouillé, élevage de 34 mois.
