Raising money for one of the local schools and want to gage interest for a 10 vertical, four-course meal, with honorary guest and wine maker, Aaron Pott. Thinking Thursday December 3rd, room for 16 people, with a price of $400 per person.
The evening will take place in a restaurant’s private cellar, beginning with a magnum of 2006 Piper-Heidsieck “Rare” Champagne, followed by a thoughtfully curated four-course dinner paired to highlight the nuances of each vintage.
For those who don’t know Greer, they are a highly rated, fully allocated, small production wine sourced from a single prestigious vineyard in Rutherford. They produce just roughly 400 cases annually, located near iconic neighbors such as Scarecrow and Joseph Phelps Insignia and crafted by acclaimed winemaker Aaron Pott. This side-by-side tasting offers a rare opportunity to explore how time and vintage shape one of Napa Valley’s most coveted Cabernet Sauvignons.
Let me know if anyone in SoCal would be interested.
Cheers and hope we can make this work. One of many more to come with photos of previous events for those who haven’t experienced.
