I am planning a Champagne dinner with Krug vertical featuring Krug MV Rose, '85 Collection, '88, '90, '95, '96 and '98 vintage.
Any suggestion regarding serving sequence or paired flights of 3? I’ve had all of them seperately, but have never had them alltogether in the same evening…
Cheers,
I’d probably start with the Rose, then do two flights of three, '98, '95, '90, followed by '96, '88, '85. I could see doing the youngest then older, but I think the last three, which are great wines but in different places developmentally, would be really interesting.
Cheers,
-Robert
It won’t matter. Just drink it!
I would go youngest to oldest and end with the rosé, however I might save the collection for last.
Sound advice from the Hillbilly as always.
