Anyone tried them?

Haven’t tried them. The New Yorker had a lengthy and very interesting article about them awhile back. There’s an abstract HERE. (You have to be registered to read the complete article).
They’re beautiful but I’d be hard pressed to pay $150 for a paring knife.
Just to be clear, I believe the Shun Kramer knives are not actual Kramer knives – he doesn’t make them, they’re made by Shun, after a Kramer design. (IIRC this is discussed in the New Yorker article I referenced before).
I actually thought about them when I saw them in the store. Did not like the handle at all…very, very uncomfortable in my hand. I much prefer the Kaji and Classic handles. Blades are beautiful though.
