Hope no one minds the shameless self promotion, but it’s very exciting times as I have now leased my own space in Woodinville where I am making my wines and will have my first release bottled in the spring and ready in the fall.
A bit of publicity for yours truly, from a local wine blog…
Congratulations and good luck to you, Dave. It is a very rewarding way to make a living. Next time I’m up in the area visiting my mother in Port Townsend, I’ll be sure and come by to say Hi.
I have had the pleasure of enjoying both of the Kaella offerings, the Merlot and the Meritage. Both are serious representations of the varietal, old world style, the Merlot more like a fine Pomeral than anything and the Meritage another classy example of the less is more wine making skills. These are exceptional wines and having tasted barrel samples of the Syrah and Cab Franc all I can say is jump on this list asap as the critics have already discovered the atonising quality and price points of these wines. As good a find as the Bedrock discoveries this year for me.
