With the 2012 upon us I was just curious if there are any other fans here.
It’s $100 out of the gates on pre-release destined to go to $140 on Fall release.
I have been a fan in the past and always got to the offer too late. This on has be thinking of a revisit.
Thoughts?
Tried it once - I don’t recall the vintage, but burned through all 3 bottles way before they were ready. It was the vintage that guy from Washington anointed it a hundy. I don’t know how he arrived at that conclusion given how backward and shutdown that wine was. I’d like to try a ‘proper’ bottle some time, but it’s too expensive a proposition to play around with.
Reynvaan is my WA Syrah acid test for this year.
I have one bottle from a few years back. The one taste I had (after buying said bottle) was that it was over the top for my taste.
