I had the '09 last week. Absolutely gorgeous. Red fruit, rose petal, cinnamon. Elegant as always. Hold if you want, but she is singing right now.
Cheers,
Bill

Happy to order every year. What a relief I didn’t throw out the card like I almost did one year!
I’ve been hitting the 07’s and they are good.
Cheers,
Doug
Thanks, Bill. I’ll give one a whirl this weekend.
Did anyone else on the list not get their postcard?
Mine arrived in DC yesterday. Love the Johnny Cash stamp.
Not a postcard. Card in a small, square, brown envelope, also containing a self-addressed stamped envelope for returning the order to Thomas. Same as always.
No offer card for me yet.
Brown envelope received here in Chicagoland…check is in the mail…
Cheers,
JP
Mine arrived today as well - same postmark
Envelope arrived in NJ today. First offer and I’ll be picking up something, probably the Joe 5 pack.
For those that are curious about wait, I sent a letter to Thomas less than a month ago and was included in this release.
I also got my first offer after signing up a couple months ago. The check was in the mail yesterday for the 6 pack. Very intrigued to try this…I’m sure I’ll kill one off early just to see what it’s like.
I want to mail out my check today before i head out on business but left the postcard on my desk (where I won’t be for a few days). Could some one PM me or post the address and cost for 1 case and 2 mags. Gracias in advance.
The price depends upon location (shipping distance). Thus, you’ll need to specify that, in order for someone to help you out. I would post the address for you; however, like you, my postcard is at the office.
Thanks Greg. I wasn’t aware of the shipping differential.
James, PM sent.
Drifting a bit, but I just saw the 2005 Thomas on a list for $795/btl. Wow.

Better be atleast a Jeroboam. Respectable restaurant price for a Methuselah.

I’ll gladly sell you 2 bottles for that price.

Wow is right. Details? The last (only) time that I had the '05 Thomas at a restaurant – Red Hills Provencial Dinner – it was $75.
It was a 750ml. I love the restaurant, so I really don’t want to ‘out’ them (the rest of the list is quite fairly priced). I mention it at all only to illustrate how big the cult of Thomas has become. Rightly so -it is absolutely one of the greatest Pinots on earth. Still, I’m not in for $800.
Cheers,
Bill
