This is a very expressive and multi-dimensional wine with great structure and a long finish. Dark black cherry and plum, cassis, hints of spice, dust and a waft of truffles overlaying sweet oaky tannins. Immensely flavorful – it is not overdone by overly obvious ripeness. The wine has a fine-grained frame finishing long with great purity.

Stagecoach Vineyard® is located eight miles up from the valley floor on the eastern mountains framing the Napa Valley. Our fruit comes from a premium vineyard block (H3) located in the Pritchard Hill Region of the vineyard. Dark black cherry, currant, and chocolate with hints of Asian spice in the nose.
Black and red fruit dominant – black cherry, black raspberry, boysenberry on the palate – there is a ton of fruit here but not overdone.
