He is doing it like he does mags every year - FCFS. But not everyone gets allocated mags AFAIK. There seems to be different tiers.

Why a click-a-thon for Own Rooted versus 24 hour hold? 24 hour hold seems reasonable for both

No. Should be Jasud first and Beta next. Jasud was late September last year and Beta in November.

2017 release for me

Been on the list since 13ā€™ Beta. He opened up more Jasud access last release and will gradually have more as more vines produce. Remember he lost 40% of the vineyard in the Glass Fire.

Canā€™t say Iā€™m excited for any kind of free-for-all cattle-call type thing, but I will definitely take my Jasud allocation.

Yes Iā€™ve heard about the increase in production so Iā€™m optimistic for future releases! Just not sure how big ā€œthe listā€ is.

I couldnā€™t even legally drink when those 2013ā€™s were released so I might have a ways to go haha

Ive been buying since 2017 vintage. Got some of the 22 Jasud last year and will be a buyer next week

I didnā€™t sign in fast enough for the 2015 and 2016 vintages. They were FCFS and gone so quickly. Email history shows tiny case production for those vintages, ā€œa little overā€ 300 cases for the 2017 vintage and allocations were held, and that was my first purchase.

Think I signed up right around when I joined WB here around 2018-19. I got two Jasudā€™s last release.

Production continues to expand as more vines come online so maybe not as long as you think. This isnā€™t quite a Macdonald situation (yet) as long as you started buying at least a couple of years ago.

Macdonald also stopped selling fruit to Mondavi so at some point they could make more wine. Probably still a lifetime wait.
