Sparkling Grenache. Pretty color. Great first effort. Dry, but with nice fruit notes of strawberry, wet stone and mineral.
What vintage?
Looks interesting - Marissa is a very good winemaker.
Cheers
It is nonvintage and it is $35 at the winery.
$28 for club members. Free shipping on a case or $20 shipping for partials down to some minimum that I can’t remember.
It’s good stuff. Unique.
Crazy pricing for a sparkling, especially a methode champenoise . . . and those are HEAVY bottles so free shipping is a DEAL!!!
We just released our first two pet nats - chenin blanc and cab franc rose - and those bottles and cases are very very heavy and cost a lot more to ship than regular bottles . . .
Cheers
I love pet nats. I may need to get me some.
It’s been fun pouring them over the past few weeks - but there are some pretty strong feelings about this style of wine out there. Many folks are not enamored as they’ve experienced some very ‘strange’ ones with some major microbial issues . . .
Cheers
At times I have been accused of microbial issues.
Reminds me of an old thread where a brewery worker said when a batch goes bad they label it as Saison and sell it anyway.
