Jadot 2004 1er Cru Nuits St Georges Les Boudots

Just got a bottle of this on closeout. Not many TNs–anyone tried it? I realize 2004 was not the best year for red Burgs, but still this is Jadot.

Thanks,

Peter

Just found a Tanzer review:

Good medium red. Red cherry, licorice and mineral aromas with a floral topnote. Round, supple and elegant, with a spicy character to the intense redcurrant and red cherry flavors. A juicy, classically styled midweight. Finishes with tangy, persistent flavors of bitter cherry, dark chocolate and spices.

Comforting.

I wouldn’t be comforted with a 2004 unless I tried it.
NOW!

??? You mean, don’t wait to drink? I know it could be a green meanie…

IMO, most, if not all 2004s should be pounded.
IMO, they will just get greenier and meanier with age.
I’m really not a fan of this vintage and have had trouble finding many which are acceptable.
