I’m not unsympathetic in the sense that it does seem unfair if tariffs to export to Europe are markedly higher than those to import to US (I don’t know this to be fact). However, the rest of his screed comes off as entitled and protectionist.
I am pleased to say that I own no wine in the JFW Portfolio except for some Copain and Siduri that I purchased before they were bought by JFW.
They have seven wineries overseas.
Does he also want freedom fries with his wines?
Happy to say that I own no KJ wines nor any Beckstoffer vineyard wines. They made their entry into vineyard ownership the same way apparently. For those interested look at Dick Peterson’s book.
Its funny that he rails against that durn furrin wine…yet has 200+ H2-A workers picking his grapes!
