It's The Weekend....What's Everyone Eating?

Tonight…Bison Strip Loin with “special” corn and broccoli Asian style

Tomorrow…Flannery hangers and three cheese potato gratin

Sunday…blood orange marinated salmon on cedar plank

I have returned to the gym and my appetite is ravenous.

Tonight… stadium food. Go, Beavers.

Saturday night… anniversary dinner steaks. LLC and LMHB standing up on the counter.

Sunday… Thai sounds good… or maybe Indian.

Friday:

Lunch - Beef Wonton Noodle Soup and dim sum (steamed pork dumplings and deep fried prawn and taro puffs)

Dinner - Pot-au-feu

Saturday:

Lunch - Probably a ham sandwich on the golf course
Dinner - Chinese Banquet involving Peking Duck, Roast Pigeon, Steamed Grouper in Light Soy Sauce, Fried Crabs, etc.

Sunday Dinner: Don’t know yet. If not too full from Sunday lunch with my in-laws, we’ll probably take the kids out for some Japanese food.

I have to go to a horrible baby shower tomorrow. Why must people procreate?

My goal…

My first thought too. WTF?

Stupid couples shower. My brother and his wife. This child will be a creature for sure.

Tonight - Battle Burgundy at Jinny and Jack Johnson’s

After that, who knows.

Last night: bacon wrapped halibut with chanterelles and endive served with roasted fingerling potatoes

Tonight: homemade pizza of some sort

Tomorrow night: hmmm

Sunday night: frisee salad with lardons and poached egg with a couple of different homemade pizzas.

I am defrosting some prime filets…about 2+ inches thick. With a side of…uh, I’m not sure yet. But who really cares what the side dish is with a steak like that?

Sounds superb. It’s been a while since I’ve had that salad. I may just ditch the Japanese restaurant idea for Sunday dinner and have them make that at home instead.

No cooking for me this weekend, last weekend I made fondue and grated off part of my thumb with a cheese grater. [imwithstupid.gif]

Tonight, though, heading to Animal http://www.animalrestaurant.com/ so I am in for some serious carnage I hope! Anyone been? recommendations?

Tonight’s visit to a new tapas bar in town may be scuttled do to me working late, but the red pepper and PB sandwich I’m having for lunch totally rocks.

Got to see what’s in the fish market for dinner for Saturday night’s grilled fish special.

Sunday~Steak Pizzaiola:Eye round seared and braised in tomato sauce and red wine, creamy polenta, and veg du jour.

Landreth, if you can make yourself look like that by FFII, I’ll throw my Noconas on the One Touch and then eat them medium rare.

and this doesn’t count…

Ricca, Dorian Yates is about 265 lbs there and < 3% body fat. No chance I can add that much bulk and then shed fat and water weight that fast. Give me six months.

Michel - awesome food pics…wow!

I just made my first pizza…alright, Traci made the dough and “stretched” it out…but I put the toppings on and cooked it…to perfection. Cheese, sweet italian sausage and Traci’s homemade pizza sauce…Superb!!!

LMD - Traci and I love poached eggs so this dish, which is so simple to make, but just (pun intended) oozes flavor…
