It's Friday 3/13/2009...What's Everyone Eating This Weekend

Tonight: Flannery Wagyu Rib Cap (I know it’s a broken record) at a fellow BB member’s house. Sides are gonna be a Caesar Salad, Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Bananas Foster. Wines will be 2003 Bordeaux.

Saturday: Grilled salmon and something green.

Sunday: Work in progress.

So the one night you choose not to eat steak is March 14th?

maybe he cant seem to convince others to join in on the “second half” of the meal

I had rib cap last night, gonna have it tonight. Three nights in a row and I might die.

Seriously, Kristi likes salmon and I have no issues with the other half of the equation for the 14th.

Tonight: what ever Lang esq. is serving at impromptu poker tonight

Saturday: taking a trip down to the cape for Grandma’s bday. Dad will be grilling, most likely strips and baked potatoes, the usual fare.

Sunday: who knows?

That’s wicked pissa.

I think since I am coming from off cape it would be “down to the cape”

This should also not be confused with the terms going up cape which is towards the canal and going down cape which is towards P-town.

Last night - a simple chicken, carrot, celery, and noodle soup with no wine, to help recovery from Wed night,

Tonight - some sort of pasta after wine tasting at Susan’s

Tomorrow - TBD

Sunday - A Casa del Vino tasting of twelve '96 Beaune ‘Greves’ at El Norteño in Albuquerque with bread & cheese. Then who knows?

Last night I had a dream that I ate a large marshmallow.

Oddly, when I woke up I noticed my pillow was missing

You need to quit accepting free drinks from WetRock.

LOL! Exactly what I was thinking!

I’ll keep watching over both of them tonight…

so in other words (less) chicken noodle soup. [tease.gif]

Hey Bill, Todd is averaging 3.5 more posts per day than you are. Let’s pick up the pace a bit. [tease.gif]

Friday dinner - homemade pizza at a friend’s house, washed down by assorted Belgian beers. I loved it, I haven’t had pizza and beer in, probably, 20+ years. I’ve forgotten how simply good it can be.

Saturday dinner - Spanish cuisine (Basque and Galician, I expect) with Spanish wines.

Sunday - no idea yet.

Fri - Z-Pizza - Please tell me there will be some meat on those things Frenchie!
Sat - Something from Antonello’s, hearty Italian fare.
Sun - Something from a restaurant in SD, Post Family Winemakers offline.

Too much eating out!

Bill’s only behind me 100 posts, and since I’ll be gone all next week, he’s got his chance to overcome my post count and THEN some.

Cris, yes, there better be SOME meat on those pizzas. I requested Mexican pizza, which has chicken breast and avocados on it. I’m guessing he’s going to get at least one with pepperoni on it.

Tonight for me.

Waygu Rib Cap from Bryan with some mashed potatos and a nice salad.
Wine is “to be decided”.

Don

Seems to be a theme here as i am doing a flannery wagyu ribcap tonight as well.

I think we are all doing our parts to cut down the excess methane in the atmosphere.

Noel, Chimay blanche and a foie gras flatbread don’t really count as “pizza and beer”. Unless… was there something pepperoniesque in the room?
