Not sure if I should openly say this, but I left the item in my cart for a few days and I was sent a 10% discount which resulted in around double the 50% shipping discount. Went ahead and purchased the unit.
Common for e-commerce, particularly (I’ve found) event ticket sales. Good news, glad it worked!
